  DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I would like to warn people about the deceptive sales tactics that were used on me during a recent trip to this store. Last Sunday (February 12, 2017) my boyfriend and I were in the area and decided to drop in shortly before closing to pick up some new pillows. After purchasing the pillows and while on our way out of the store the salesman, James, encouraged us to buy some pillow protectors to go along with the pillows we just bought. We thought it was a good idea and he offered us a slight discount so we proceeded with the purchase. During the checkout process he notified us that it all products that leave that store are considered a final sale. Concerned with this statement, I asked James if I can be sure that the pillow protector would fit the pillow he sold us. He confidently reassured us that they would fit "Yes, it will fit, because my wife has one"he said. Upon arriving home and attempting to fit the pillows into the protectors I learned that the protectors were much larger than the pillows that we were sold. It definitely did NOT fit. On Tuesday I dropped by the store and spoke to a saleslady about my issue. I was told, as expected, that sales are final and that they could not take the product back. I explained the fact that James assured me they would fit and that’s the only reason I purchased the pillow protectors in the first place. She made a quick phone call and told me to come back on Thursday and James would be here and she would make sure that he accepts my return. On Wednesday I received a call from the same saleslady and she told me there was no need to come in on Thursday because she would just have James call me directly. I told her that I will just come into the store because I need to return the pillow protectors anyways. On Thursday I took more time out of my day and returned to the store to see James, as instructed. When I got there James and the saleslady proceeded to reiterate their no returns policy while also showing me how they “make" the pillow protectors “fit". They basically fold the edge of the pillow protector over on itself and stuff it into the case. They continued to refuse to accept the fact that James misled and continued to refused to accept the return. Completely frustrated, I put my pillow protectors down and left the store. I understand their return policy but I also understand that exceptions can be made and this is obviously a situation where treating the customer fairly would’ve meant issuing a return. I urge you to spend your money at a store that respects their customers a little more than to mislead them just to make a few bucks on the way out of the door. In total we spent $272 there, but we would’ve left the store the first time if we were told that the protector was 4” too big. Please spend your money at a locally owned mattress store that respects their customers, like The Mattress & Sleep Co. on Calgary Trail.
