By far the WORST customer experience of any apple store i've been to. Went in to fix unresponsive keys on my 2018 macbook pro for the 2nd time (note: DO NOT buy the 2018 macbook pro, any piece of dust/debris that gets into the keyboard will render the keys unresponsive, the staff have confirmed this is a known issue and I have verified this with friends who own the same model). For comparison, my 2010 macbook air has lasted me 8 years without any issues. The "tech" made me wait for 45 minutes while they cleaned/replaced the keys even though I told them that didn't fix the issue last time and the keyboard needs to be replaced. As expected, the issue persisted despite cleaning and diagnosing that the problem was solved. I agreed to leave it at the store to get the keyboard replaced. Meanwhile, I spoke to the manager about getting a new macbook to replace the faulty one given that this is a continuous issue. She had a serious attitude and was of no help as she claimed she did not feel comfortable disclosing how many times it needs to be repaired before they replace the machine. The manager had medium length brown hair with bloodshot eyes - lowkey she acted/looked stoned. She insisted that I would receive "priority" service to expedite the repair process. 5 days later (so much for "priority" service), I arrive to pick up my macbook and discovered they had not replaced the keyboard. In fact, NOTHING was done because both the "tech" and the store manager "forgot" to leave a note about the repairs. I needed my laptop for an exam so I had to take my laptop, drive 30 minutes to class, complete an online exam with non-responsive keys, drive back to the store and drop it off due to the staff's incompetence. Bottom line: if you want to pay $1,729 for a laptop that will probably have keyboard issues within 2 months, buy the 2018 macbook pro. When you come to apple to fix your computer and want to make repeated visits and deal with incompetent degenerates that take pleasure in wasting your time, visit Apple at Southgate Centre.
