  This store has more 1 star ratings than 5 star ratings for a reason. Their customer service is sub-par. I was shopping for a product, found it on Amazon for $240 and found it on Canadian Tire`s site for $500. I don`t feel like waiting for Amazon delivery and rather give the business to a Canadian business, so I called this Canadian Tire and asked them if they would match Amazon`s price. Specifically quoted Amazon`s $240 price and Canadian Tire`s $500 price. Made sure I referred to ``Amazon`` because their online customer service policy only says they match ``local competitor’s`` prices, so wanted to confirm whether they`d match Amazon. Customer service woman answered that ``we match prices``, implying that they`ll match Amazon`s price considering I had specifically asked if they`ll match that. But when I went to buy the item, the same woman I had already spoken with said they don`t match Amazon prices. Wasted more than an hour for nothing. I only said Amazon once when I called to inquire, so it could be an honest mistake, but she answered as though she understood. Customer service has to do a better job making sure they understand customers` inquiries to avoid answering incorrectly like this.
