More geared towards children than the Disney stores I'm used to in MO, USA. They had some cute Stitch stuff when I was there summer of 2016. There was a many movie theater and other stuff for kids to do in store.

Birthday Disaster at West Edmonton Mall location. For our sons fourth birthday we were mall walking. At 10:35 we noticed there was nobody at the Disney store, so it must be our lucky day :) we know that when it opens at 11 that the first person opens the store with a key, and gets to keep a souvenir key. five minutes later, at 10:40, an employee showed up. She said that there was a family waiting on a bench outside of the store, and that even though they aren't at the front, they get first crack at the key. With my son, we asked if they were waiting to do they key opening. They said no, they were just there to shop, and that my son could do it. He was THRILLED! So we sat patiently for twenty more minutes. Thirty seconds to opening a girl and her mom come to the store and wait at the side. The employee, Aly, came and opened the gate. She immediately went to the newcomer and said "so you are our special key turner today?!" I wasted no time in saying "um, actually we have been here for half an hour." The family that had arrived before us was even defending us, stating that the other kid had not been there for the full 45 min. they were waiting. Aly didn't care. So my teary-eyed son got to watch someone else do it. While inside he was coloring while my wife talked to employees about the incident. We eventually got a painfully insincere apology from Aly- one of those "I'm sorry you feel this way" non-apologies. They gave him a birthday pin and an Avengers shield to color, but that was the extent of their damage control for a hurting little boy. A heartwarming moment, though, was when the dad of the family that had let Rayn go ahead in line came over, extremely apologetic about how things happened. He even offered to buy my son a Spiderman toy to cheer him up. It was very sweet. I declined, as it was not his fault, but thanked him profusely for his kindness. But wouldn't you agree that there is something very wrong when an innocent bystander is willing to compensate more than the multi-billion dollar corporation? The whole experience was wrong and hurtful. To be treated that way and to be given cheap pieces of paper in exchange for our silence was so offensive, and all of this done by people who represent the "Happiest Place on Earth". Just deplorable.

Overtime I deal with Disney store it is always a bad experience! I wanted to order the lightening mcqueen luggage. online and delivery was the same price as shipping and I could not order Disney books either, they just would not ship them to Canada. Then I called this store at noon and I was told they were on sale and that they could only put one on hold for a couple hours, because it was a big item! I sent my husband to pick it up the same day and when he got there it was on for regular price! Worst customer service ever! over expensive! It was a curse, Not a magical feeling at all!
