Staff were actually nice and helpful for once. My last experience left me feeling very upset because of a rude and probably racist female staff that had an attitude because I asked for assistance. It seems they have new staff now that actually don't judge people as soon as they walk in.

Sometimes great, sometimes terrible, mostly mediocre. It’s a large store with lots of variety in fabrics, tools, accessories and membership pays off if you sew a lot. But depending on the “cutter” you may get more or way less fabric than you wanted/paid for. Most fabrics are not modern prints or materials and same problem with most patterns. Some of the workers have good experience and can offer advice on your project or give tips, and at the least help you find what you’re looking for. Unfortunately some of the workers also seem to have little idea about seeing- my best guess is maybe they just quilt and you’re trying to make a garnet, or something like that. For simple garments, costumes, home decor, this is a great place. For super modern prints, you’re better off going online. For quilting, come here for fill, batting, binding, back fabric, thread, etc, but maybe get the front pieces from an actual quilt store.
